Glenn Smyly We wish you a prosperous, joyful, peaceful and Happy New Year!

In our consulting/coaching business, Alivening, LLC, at the end of each year we have been supporting our clients to complete the old year and start the new year in a positive way.

We have been sharing this process with thousands of clients for well over 30 years now with very positive results. We invite everyone to enjoy our end of year completion process and to share it with others so that we may all live in peace and harmony.

It is based on each person forgiving themselves and others for all thoughts, words, deeds, actions, interactions or reactions they have had during the past year which has left them any negative feelings, emotional discomfort or judgments by writing the following statement and filling in the blanks:

1) Something I forgive myself for is:

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

2) Something I forgive _____________ for is _____________________________:

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

Review the lists and ask if there is any action needed to complete the forgiveness process.

Is there a need to write a letter, send a note, make restituition or just let it go? Once reviewed, again affirm complete forgiveness for self and others and tear these up and throw them away declaring complete forgiveness.

Now with a clear mind we proceed to writing:

3) Something I am Grateful for is:

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

4) Something I request or ask for in 2011 is:

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

Review these lists and put them somewhere special so that at the end of 2011 you can look at them and see how many of those things requested at the beginning of the year became a reality.

You will find when doing your goals for the upcoming year many of the things you have asked for will become goals.

Happy New Year and May All Your Hopes, Wishes and Dreams Come True.

Love, Glenn and Barbara Smyly
